The Pasadena Outlaws are proud to announce the appointment of Ikenna Scott as General Manager, effective immediately.
“Ikenna Scott embodies everything we look for in a leader: basketball acumen, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to community,” said Kevin Williams Sr., President of the NBL-US. “His track record of developing talent and fostering fan engagement makes him the perfect choice to guide the Outlaws into their next chapter in Pasadena. I’m confident that under Ikenna’s leadership, we’ll strengthen our competitive position on the court and deepen our roots in this incredible city.”
Vision, Goals, and Commitment
“I’m honored and energized to take the reins as General Manager of the Pasadena Outlaws,” said Ikenna Scott. "My vision is to assemble a roster that competes for championships while remaining true to the community that supports us. That means:
-
Building a Balanced, High-Character Roster: Identifying players with elite skill sets and a passion for community engagement.
-
Elevating the Fan Experience: Introducing themed game nights, youth clinics, and open practices that bring families and schools through our doors.
-
Fostering Local Partnerships: Working hand-in-hand with Pasadena ISD, local business owners, and nonprofit organizations to create sustainable outreach programs.
-
Achieving On-Court Success: Targeting a top-three finish in our division by the end of the 2026 season and establishing a winning culture that endures.
“My goal is clear: to make the Outlaws a source of pride for Pasadena. Together with President Williams, Commissioner Countee, our coaching staff, and the Lady Outlaws’ leadership, we’ll build a franchise that stands for excellence both on and off the court.”
