NBL-US Expansion Franchise Finds Permanent Home in Pasadena; Women’s Team “Lady Outlaws” Joins WNBL-US

Pasadena, Texas – The National Basketball League – United States (NBL-US) today announced that its 2024 expansion franchise, the Texas Outlaws, will officially rebrand as the Pasadena Outlaws beginning with the upcoming 2026 season. Fresh off a 5th-place finish in their inaugural year, the Outlaws have secured Pal Gymnasium in Pasadena as their permanent home and are set to deepen their bond with the community through enhanced on-court performance and year-round outreach programs.

“Our journey began as a road-only team in 2024, but from day one we felt the passion of Southeast Texas basketball,” said Kevin Williams Sr., President of the NBL-US. “Now, as the Pasadena Outlaws, we’re thrilled to build a franchise that embodies the spirit and pride of Pasadena. We can’t wait to bring championship-caliber basketball to Pal Gymnasium and inspire the next generation of local talent.”

In conjunction with the men’s Outlaws, the organization will launch the Lady Outlaws, its women’s development team, to compete in the WNBL-US. The Lady Outlaws will play home games alongside the men’s squad at Pal Gymnasium, further expanding elite basketball opportunities for Pasadena athletes and fans alike.
